Riad Ta'achchaqa features 5 beautiful en-suite rooms spread over 2 levels and surrounding a patio complete with a relaxing fountain, dining tables and an open lounge with a huge fireplace.
On the first floor, enjoy a summer sitting area with sofas, leading to an open-air roof terrace equipped with a hammam.
Hotel informationRiad Ta'achchqa is an ancient house of the 18th century, built with natural and traditional materials. It was not reconstructed but renewed and has preserved its walls, its joineries and its decorations. The riad is a place of exception, convenient to the relaxation. On the terrace, you will find a Berber tent where your dinner or just a drink will be served. And around a vast shower-pond was placed by deckchair with mattresses and towels to take advantage of the sun of Marrakesh right in the heart of Medina.
The riad has a traditional hammam warmed in the wood. After your relaxation in the hammam, we suggest you prolonging this moment by a massage relaxing in the argon oil.
Food & beverage
The fully breakfast is served on the terrace from 07:00 to 10:00 and composed both of cuisine with Moroccan and Continental specialities. The dinner is served from 19:00 to 21:00 and is prepared on inquiry ( in the morning) by the cooker of the Riad. The Moroccan menu will be proposed according to the fresh products of the market and your preference.
You can reserved your dinner by email if you wish to have dinner in the riad in the evening of your arrival.

Riad Ta'Achchaqa can organize your airport transfer. The price is around 25€ round trip up to 3 person.
By Taxi:
Ask the driver to drop you off by the ‘no entry’ sign at the bottom of Dar el Bacha (the street of the antique dealers), near the police sentry box.
By Car:
- Park your car close to the Dar el Bacha place, near the police sentry box.
- Follow the Dar el Bacha to a four-way crossing. Take the street to the left that looks like a dead end and is covered over by reed mats.
- You will see a stucco-framed, engraved door that is the entrance to the mausoleum of Sidi Abdelaziz.
- As you walk up this street, take the first left on Derb Ouayhah, about 50 m.
- Follow the derb, always turning right around several corners. You will see number 19 on your right at the end of the lane.
Room Types
Only the rooms on the floor are air-conditioned because the house has preserved all its qualities of environment adapted to the climatic conditions and on ground floor it remains fresh in summer and warmth in winter.
All rooms are decorated in tadelakt and have a private bathroom in black tadelakt. They offers high quality bedding and a linen embroidered with the logo of the riad. A wireless internet access is available in all rooms.
Chemaia - Double Room
A large room decorated with original zouaké cedar furniture, on the ground floor of the riad. It has a traditional Berber tent-style king-size bed to create an intimate ambiance.
Room size is 21 m².
Ifulki - Double Room
A large room decorated with traditional Berber-style painted cedar furniture, located on the first floor of the riad. It is south-facing, so it is very sunny. The bathroom is made of tadelakt black.
Room size is 250 square feet and has a queen-size bed.
Maniah - Double Room
A very large room located on the first floor, filled with wrought-iron furniture designed by the proprietors. The room is east-facing so gets full sun in the morning. The corner living room has a chimney and bench inside an alcove; the end corner has a queen-size bed. At the other end is the huge bathroom, which is made of tadelakt black.
Room size is 325 square feet.
Ouayhah - Double Room
A very large room with a queen-size bed, wooden furniture and original 18th century ceiling, on the ground floor of the riad. The enormous bathroom is made of tadelakt black.
Room size is 365 square feet.
Bejmat - Double Room
A very large room with polished, wrought-iron furniture, located on the first floor of the riad. The huge bathroom is made of tadelakt black and has a small window that opens out over the derb below.
Room is 25 m² and has a king-size bed.
